IHC Consulting Solutions, LLC was born from a great desire to make the workplace a safer environment for everyone. According to the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, the definition of workplace violence is "any act or threat of physical violence, harassment, intimidation, or other threatening, disruptive behavior that occurs at the work site. It ranges from threats and verbal abuse to physical assaults and even homicide. It can affect and involve employees, clients, customers and visitors. Acts of violence and other injuries is currently the third-leading cause of fatal occupational injuries in the United States." Everyday people in every line of work experience various forms of workplace violence. Many have grown accustomed to some of these forms of workplace violence, thinking that it is just part of the job. This couldn't be farther from the truth. No one should have to experience workplace violence. We are dedicated to finding solutions to those workplace violence issues.
